Electric models, like our TM100 and TM200, are ideal for smaller taps and situations where a 110V power source is readily available. Hydraulic models offer greater torque for larger diameter taps (up to 72") and are preferred for heavy-duty industrial and municipal applications where hydraulic power packs are common.

Our product line covers a vast range of applications. The TM6120 is our largest model, capable of performing hot taps up to 72 inches in diameter, making it suitable for major municipal water mains and large-scale industrial pipelines.

The boring bar is the rotating shaft that holds the cutter and extends to make the cut. A larger diameter boring bar, like the 6.0" bar on our TM6120, provides increased rigidity and stability, which is crucial for preventing vibration and ensuring a clean, precise cut on large diameter taps.

Our TM100 is offered as a complete turnkey package, including the power drive, adapters, and hole saws. Larger models are supplied with the core machine, cutter holder, and measuring rods, with cutters and adapters selected based on specific job requirements.

All of our hot tapping machines and related line stopping equipment are proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in the United States at our facility in Lake Elsinore, California. This ensures direct oversight of quality control and materials from start to finish.

Our standard hot tapping machines are engineered to operate on pipelines with pressures up to 350 psi. This rating covers the vast majority of municipal water, wastewater, and industrial fluid applications. We can discuss options for higher pressure requirements if needed.
