A plug-in pipe fitting, or completion plug, is a mechanical seal inserted into a line stop fitting or flange to block flow at a tapped location. It's set using a plug setter and locked in place with pins, allowing pipeline sections to be isolated for repair or replacement.

Completion plug and setting equipment is available for pipeline diameters ranging from 4" to 36", with plug setters like the PS0410 (4"-10"), PS0616 (6"-16"), and PS1836 (18"-36") covering the full range for small to large diameter pipelines.
