The FH1612 machine is a Folding Head Linestop unit capable of stopping 16″ and 18″ pipe through a 12″ valve. This Folding Head can seal any 16″ and 18″ pipe diameter, up to 150psi, with the use of different sized backing rings and sealing elements. An entire section of pipe can be bypassed with the use of two of these machines and bypass housings.
All Folding Head Linestop machines utilize polyurethane sealing elements purchased through Pipeman Products
The FH1612 requires an 11.875″ access diameter and can stop pipe with inside diameters ranging from 14.5″ to 18.75″
We stock 11.875″ diameter hot tap cutters in multiple tooth styles (Carbide, HSS and Diamond segmented) and can adapt them to fit any tapping machine you have that is capable.
